Founded in 1956, Radio Communications Service, and later Metropolitan Communications (1980) have together become two of the largest and most successful independent two-way radio shops in the tri-state area.

Since the mid 1980's second-generation owner and CEO, Dale Petrovitch, has lead Radio Communication Service and Metropolitan Communications with growth and customer satisfaction in mind.

Our companies carry a complete selection of quality wireless communication products including Nextel, Motorola and Radius Two-way radios, accessories, on-site paging systems and more. We are an authorized Motorola Service Station (MSS) and perform warranty repair service and complete system installations.

Technology
Our companies provide the “best of breed” technologies, as they become commercially available, including high quality equipment from major suppliers including Motorola, Nextel, Andrews, Zetron and others.

System Design
Perform on-site needs analysis; determine customer requirements and appropriate solutions. Translate requirements into a clearly defined list of materials and services to be provided.

System Implementation
Contract to provide all necessary materials and labor to implement a completely operational system.

After Market Maintenance
Provide full service maintenance for complex systems on contract or on demand. Our companies maintain a full time staff of personnel and fully equipped service vehicles to guarantee prompt response in the service area on a twenty-four hour, seven-day basis.

Proof of Performance Testing
Our companies will provide personnel, electronic measuring equipment, vehicles and other necessary professional services to perform system operational tests. This includes measuring all specified parameters, operational evaluation and formal certification.

Regulatory
Our companies will arrange for numerous regulatory authorizations necessary to implement and commission an operating system. We retain a full service regulatory focused legal firm in Washington, DC to handle FCC matters.

Management Team

Dale L. Petrovitch, President & CEO
Dale possesses over twenty-five years of solid two-way radio business experience. He has been active in the business for over twenty years and manages the day-to-day operations on a highly interactive basis. Dale serves as the president and chief executive officer for the companies and also oversees specific project coordination.

Richard Anderson, Sales Manager
Rick has been successful in the two-way radio marketing and systems sales business for over twenty years. His direct Motorola sales management career experience serves Rick and the company's customers well. Rick manages the company's day-to-day sales operations.

Senior Sales Consultants

John Jannett
John has over ten years experience in two-way communications. He possesses a strong background in the design and sale of two-way radio and paging systems. He has extensive knowledge in trunked radio systems using the LTR format. John is also manufactured trained at Motorola University for Radius, Branded, Trunked and conventional radio systems. His product experience covers the whole spectrum of two-way wireless communication including; Motorola, Kenwood, SEA 220MHz, Nextel and Zetron.
